Nashville Predators Foundation Teams Up with Hunt Brothers® Pizza to Deliver Lunch to Schools for Teacher Appreciation Week
Preds Foundation, Hunt Brothers Pizza will deliver lunch from May 4-8 to recognize the work of Middle Tennessee’s teachers, staff, and administrators.
Nashville, Tenn. – The Nashville Predators and Hunt Brothers Pizza will deliver lunch through the Hunk of Appreciation program to six schools across the Middle Tennessee area during Teacher Appreciation Week from May 4-8. The program will serve more than 500 staff members during the week.
Formerly known as Feeding the Frontlines, Hunk of Appreciation was established during COVID as an initiative to treat first responders to pizza and Predators swag, which later transitioned to teachers and faculty once schools reopened. The Predators Foundation and Hunt Brothers Pizza visit schools one Friday each month of the school year to thank teachers and faculty for all they do for students with pizza, snacks and drinks. Since 2021, over 6,000 staff members in the Smashville education community have been thanked through this program.
