Nashville Performance Club Opens Elevated Fitness and Recovery Facility

New strength-focused training club features expert coaches, personalized programming and recovery amenities designed to support long-term performance.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville’s newest fitness facility, Nashville Performance Club (NPC), is now open, bringing a performance-based training club model to the community. Unlike traditional gyms, NPC pairs structured group training with personalized coaching support, comprehensive performance assessments and built-in recovery amenities to prioritize sustainable strength and measurable progress.

Located in the Hillsboro Village area at 2101 21st Ave. S., the 5,000-square-foot facility offers strength training, recovery amenities – including three cold plunges and sauna – personalized consultations and small coach-to-member ratios. Members have access to four signature training sessions: Perform (NPC’s foundational strength and conditioning class), Flow (mobility and movement), Restore (guided recovery) and Play (a high-energy community class). Beyond its standard training sessions, NPC provides open gym and open recovery access to accommodate varying schedules.

With a maximum 1-to-15 coach-to-member ratio and state-of-the-art equipment, NPC prioritizes education and hands-on coaching through a blend of small-group training and personalized one-on-one coaching. This approach empowers members with the tools and resources needed to take ownership of their health and fitness journeys. Every membership begins with a comprehensive performance assessment, including a one-on-one consultation with a coach to establish goals, identify benchmarks and create a measurable path forward.

Through its Coach Cohort model, each member is paired with a primary performance coach who oversees their long-term progress, providing ongoing support beyond individual sessions. This experience is supported by a performance profile – a living record that tracks goals, benchmarks, training history and coach insights to ensure continuity and intentional progression. NPC also offers personal training.

The club was designed with intention, featuring premier Eleiko strength training equipment. The space is organized into multi-functional strength stations, enabling more precise coaching than is typically possible in a group training environment. As an official HYROX Training Club, NPC is accredited to offer race-aligned programming, competition-standard equipment, informed coaching and early access to HYROX race registration when available. In addition to its performance-driven offerings, NPC hosts monthly skills workshops featuring small-group learning sessions focused on developing and refining specific lifts and movement skills, from Olympic lifting and barbell basics to handstands and inversions.

NPC was founded by Larry Frank and Cameron Day, who believe strength training should feel accessible, inclusive and sustainable for every age and fitness level. Frank, a former concert promoter turned visual artist, began training with Day after moving to Nashville and experienced firsthand the benefits of strength and recovery-focused training, improving mobility and avoiding surgery. His experience helps shape NPC’s intentional design and community-driven approach. Day, who serves as director of performance and operations, brings a background across private training, corporate fitness and collegiate athletics, including serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for Vanderbilt Football.

“NPC started from a simple realization,” said Day. “Fitness changed how I saw myself and what I believed was possible, and I wanted to give that to other people. What we’re doing differently is that we don’t treat training as the end goal – we treat it as a tool. Our coaches don’t fix people, they guide them, helping each individual define what performance means in their own life so they can not just get stronger, but feel stronger.”

From now through April 11, NPC will open the floor for training and recovery, along with offering Intro to Training sessions for members. The full performance training schedule will begin on April 13.

In celebration of its opening, NPC will host a Grand Opening Event on May 2 featuring a complimentary Play session at 12 p.m., followed by an open gym until 5 p.m., inviting the community to experience the club’s signature training, explore the facility and meet the coaching team.

NPC will operate Monday through Friday starting at 5 a.m., with Saturday hours beginning at 7 a.m.  For more information on membership and weekly session schedules please visit Nashvilleperformanceclub.com.
