Modern Italian Restaurant Indaco Opens Today, March 6, in Germantown

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group brings new neighborhood gathering spot to historic Germantown.

Nashville, Tenn. – The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is proud to welcome guests to Indaco, its modern Italian restaurant now open in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood. With its charm and rich character, Germantown offers the ideal backdrop for a restaurant centered on community and gathering around the table.

“We designed Indaco to be a neighborhood spot, and we found the perfect fit for that vision in Germantown,” says Steve Palmer, Founder and Chief Vision Officer of The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. “Nashville has this incredible energy—creative, welcoming, and deeply community‑minded. Our goal has always been to create a place where guests can settle in, share a great meal, and feel completely taken care of. Indaco is about more than Italian cuisine; it’s about warmth, authenticity, and fostering the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back."

Indaco adds to the city’s dynamic culinary scene while embracing Nashville’s welcoming spirit—one that has already warmly supported concepts like Oak Steakhouse and O-Ku. Through its thoughtfully curated menu and heartfelt hospitality, Indaco continues that tradition of bringing people together around exceptional food and genuine service. Whether gathering for a milestone celebration or dropping by for a relaxed evening out, guests can expect an inviting atmosphere designed to suit every occasion.

On The Menu

Indaco offers a place to slow down and savor—together. The locally sourced, ingredient-driven menu led by Executive Chef Chris Ayala features a seasonally rotating selection of antipasti, wood-fired pizza, hand-rolled pastas, and entrées to enjoy family-style or à la carte. Italian-inspired menu items include highlights like Lobster Tortellini (Lemon Parm Fonduta, Breadcrumbs), Orecchiette Nero(Squid Ink, Octopus, Amatriciana, Crispy Shallots, Romesco), Bone In Pork Chop (Raisin Agrodolce, Caramelized Ricotta, Braised Radicchio), and Squash Pizza (Bacon, Mozzarella, Goat Cheese, Garlic, Rosemary, Roasted Onions, Aged Balsamic). A “for the table” option offers guests the option to let the chef team curate three courses, served family-style, for $65/person.

The wine program emphasizes Italian wines and is complemented by seasonal and classic cocktails, as well as zero-proof options. Standout libations include the Pony Up (Campari, Cocchi Rosa, Fino Sherry, Strawberry Shrub, Absinthe,&tonic), the Dollar Slice (Pizza Infused Gin, Basil, Vermouth, Red Bitter), and the Opalite (Vodka, Luxardo Bitter Bianco, Bergamont, Orange).

“For me, the kitchen has always been home, and that sense of familiarity is at the core of our identity at Indaco,” says Executive Chef Chris Ayala. “We built a menu that spotlights the best of Nashville to put a unique spin on rustic Italian cuisine so that everyone finds something to love.”

Accommodating 103 guests in the dining room and 12 seats at the bar, the space features floor-to-ceiling windows and warm wood accents along with large upholstered striped banquettes, rich brown details, and the signature indigo blue tile.
