“Sunday Singin’ is something I’ve done my entire life!” shares Howard. “Being raised in church, the hymns we all know and love were the first songs ever etched into my heart. Faith in the Lord is the most central part of my life, so it felt like a natural thing to create this special night of gospel music and offer it to my Nashville community. I’m so thankful to the Listening Room Cafe to partner with me in making sure these songs get a top-notch venue! Can’t wait to be Sunday Singin’ with y’all.”

“Anyone who knows me well knows that I am strong in my faith,” shares Chris Blair, Owner & Founder, The Listening Room. “I truly believe that The Listening Room would not be where it is today without that. We have gotten through some very difficult times by leaning into prayer and trusting that God will get us through the valley. And He always has. Rebecca Lynn Howard has played shows with us for many years and will bring incredible friends and special guests to join her on stage for a night of traditional church hymns we all know, infused with new life by Nashville songwriters and artists. This is a Sunday night you don't want to miss!”.

Crossover country-pop singer, and two-time Grammy Award winner, Rebecca Lynn Howard hails from a small Appalachian town in eastern Kentucky and moved to Nashville in 1997, where she began a career as a singer-songwriter. Her compositions have been recorded by artists like Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Runaway June, Julianne Hough, John Michael Montgomery, rock band New Medicine and Clay Aiken, to name a few. Her writing style varies from deep-rooted, front porch bluegrass and mountain music, to country, to pop, to heavy power punk rock, and most everything in between. Howard was a featured vocalist on Jim Brickman's "Simple Things" and enjoyed the No. 1 slot on the Adult Contemporary chart, but she is best known for her smash hit "Forgive", which is still a favorite among fans and critics alike. Howard is the bassist/vocalist in Steven Tyler’s country band Loving Mary. They have completed a North American tour as well as a European tour. Howard signed with country star Lee Brice’s record label Pumphouse Records where she recently released a brand-new album I’m Not Who You Think I Am.
