Lightning 100 and Opry Entertainment Group Announce the Return of "Live On the Green"
Guster and Grace Potter to Headline Launch Party at Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on Oct. 18.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, Lightning 100 and Opry Entertainment Group announce the return of Nashville’s beloved concert series, “Live on The Green.” In celebration of the series’ return, a “Live on The Green” Lawnwarming Party will take place on Oct. 18 at Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater. The special launch party event will feature performances from alumni “Live on The Green” headliners, Guster and Grace Potter, along with additional artists to be announced.
“With the help of our friends at Opry Entertainment Group, we’re thrilled to celebrate the return of “Live on The Green” in 2027 with a special Lawnwarming Party this October,” said Lester Turner Jr., President of Tuned In Broadcasting, Inc. parent company of Lightning 100. “Since its inception in 2009, the series has always focused on bringing Nashville together through great music. We are making good on that promise and providing over 1,000 free tickets to the community and other affordable ticket options. We can’t wait to see you there, Nashville!”
Reserved tickets to the “Live on The Green” Lawnwarming Party go on sale at 8:00 a.m. CT, on Friday, Aug. 28 at ascendamphitheater.com. Lightning 100 and Opry Entertainment Group are offering 1,000 free tickets to fans who register at liveonthegreen.com through tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Winners will be notified on Thursday, Aug. 27.
Additional opportunities to receive free tickets will be available through Lightning 100’s on-air contests, their online Ticket Window and various on-site promotions leading up to the party. For fans looking to enhance their experience, premium reserved seats and VIP Front Access tickets are also available for purchase at ascendamphitheater.com.
