NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jackalope Brewing Company is celebrating the annual release of its seasonal Octobearfest brew alongside Black Abbey Brewing Company’s Chronicles with an all-day Oktoberfest celebration at its Wedgewood-Houston taproom on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Jackalope's Octobearfest and Black Abbey's Chronicles are back to celebrate the return of fall with two seasonal beers. These annual favorites showcase the tradition and craftsmanship behind one of the season's most iconic beer styles.
Beginning August 28th, guests can get an early taste of both beers in the taproom before Octobearfest festivities begin. Enjoy them fresh on draft in the taproom or take them home in cans or growlers while this limited seasonal release lasts.
“The start of fall and the kickoff of Oktoberfest is our favorite time of year,” said Steve Barone, owner of Jackalope Brewing Company. “Seeing people usher in autumn at our taproom and enjoying a football game while bonding over a shared love of great beer, food, and friendly competition always reignites our passion for our community.”
The celebration will feature freshly poured Octobearfest and Chronicles, brats fresh off the grill, live music and Oktoberfest-inspired competitions. Guests can put their strength to the test during the stein-holding competition or see how quickly they can conquer a pretzel during the pretzel speed-eating competition. All are encouraged to wear their best lederhosen and join in the Oktoberfest spirit.
Whether you're competing, sipping, or just soaking up the atmosphere, Octobearfest is the perfect way to kick off fall at Jackalope. This will be a family-friendly event, and dogs are welcome.
