Jackalope Brewing Company to Host Hazy Days Tropical Celebration

In celebration of one of Jackalope’s strongest and fastest-growing beers, visitors can enjoy a Hazy Cask release, specialty cocktails, brewery tours, family-friendly activities, delicious food, and live music from a Jimmy Buffett tribute band.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — On Saturday, August 1, Jackalope Brewing Company welcomes the community to its taproom and patio for one of its most anticipated events, the Hazy Days Summer Celebration.

In appreciation of one of the brewery’s most beloved beers and the people who drink it, Jackalope’s Wedgewood-Houston location will transform into an island-inspired paradise with tropical food and drinks, live entertainment, brewery tours and activities for guests of all ages. Throughout the day, there will also be live music and entertainment, including steel drum performances and a Jimmy Buffett tribute band.

“In the Summer in Tennessee, there’s no better place to be than the Jackalope Taproom with a Hazy IPA in hand,” said Steve Barone, owner of Jackalope. “We’re excited to celebrate our Hazy IPA and its continued success and momentum with the community with the type of unforgettable activation and programming we’ve become well known for. You won’t want to miss our 2026 Hazy Days, I promise you that.”

The celebration of Hazy IPAs will uplift Jackalope’s flagship Hazy IPA, which has become one of the fastest-rising and best-selling of its kind in Nashville. It will also feature the new Hazy Cask beer release, Hop Drop specialty cocktails, margaritas, tropical hard seltzers, and a draft truck. Meanwhile, perfect food pairings will be served all day from the grill tent, including “cheeseburgers in paradise,” pork sandwiches with pineapple salsa, Hawaiian pizza, grilled pineapple and fresh watermelon.

From noon to six, music and live steel drums will keep the patio buzzing. At 7:30, Jimmy Buffett Tribute band Lost In Paradise will begin.

Pets are welcome to Hazy Days. Both two-legged and four-legged guests are encouraged to rock their best beachwear, sunglasses, Hawaiian shirts, and jackalope antlers. There will be a costume contest with prizes for the best-dressed human and pets.

In addition to food, drinks and live entertainment, Hazy Days will offer hourly brewery tours, vinyl spin art, family-friendly yard games and activities, kiddie and doggie pools.

About Jackalope Brewing Company

Founded in 2011, Jackalope Brewing Company is a proudly independent, Nashville-born craft brewery celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2026. What began as a neighborhood brewery has grown into Nashville’s beer, one of the most recognized names in Tennessee craft beer, and now rapidly expanding outside the state, Jackalope is known for its approachable beers and deep connection to the community. Jackalope isn’t just where you drink—it’s where Nashville gathers.

In a continued commitment to preserving and strengthening Nashville’s brewing heritage, Jackalope recently acquired Black Abbey Brewing Company—ensuring that one of the city’s most beloved brands remains locally rooted and operational. This milestone reflects Jackalope’s broader mission: to support and sustain a thriving, independent craft beer culture in Middle Tennessee.

Under the ownership and investment of Nashville entrepreneur Steve Barone, Jackalope is entering its next chapter with a focus on thoughtful growth, operational excellence, and community impact. With expanded production capabilities and a strengthened portfolio of brands, the company remains dedicated to brewing exceptional beer while championing the spirit of local ownership and innovation that has defined it from the beginning.
