NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The iconic General Jackson Showboat, one of Gaylord Opryland’s timeless attractions, is closing out summer with two exciting specialty cruises designed to deliver unforgettable entertainment, scenic river views, and unique experiences aboard one of the most popular showboats in the world. Guests are invited to make the most of the season's final weeks with a Summer Movie Night Cruise and Yacht Rock Evening Cruise, each offering a one-of-a-kind evening on the water.

On Sunday, August 2, 2026, the General Jackson Showboat invites guests to relive the adventure of Back to the Future during a Summer Movie Night Cruise. Surrounded by scenic views of the Cumberland River, guests will enjoy a nostalgic evening featuring one of cinema’s most beloved classics. Departing the dock at 8:00 p.m., the three-hour cruise offers a unique blend of entertainment and family-friendly fun, with light food and beverage options available for purchase onboard. The event is open to guests of all ages, with children 11 and under required to be accompanied by a ticketed adult age 18 or older. Tickets are $25.00 per person, inclusive per person, for guests ages three and older.

On Saturday, September 5, 2026, guests can cap off the season with a Yacht Rock Evening Cruise featuring live entertainment from The Nashville Yacht Club Band. While cruising, guests can relax to the smooth tunes and sing-along to favorites of the Yacht Rock era while enjoying the picturesque setting and Nashville's sparkling skyline. Departing at 7:00 p.m., the three-hour excursion makes for the perfect end-of-summer celebration. Light food and beverage options will be available for purchase onboard. The cruise is open to guests of all ages, with children 11 and under required to be accompanied by a ticketed adult age 18 or older. Tickets are $50.00 inclusive per person, with an upgraded Captain's Hat package available for $65.00 inclusive.
