Four Nashville Soccer Club Players Called Up for September-October FIFA Window

The Boys in Gold will represent the United States, Australia, the Dominican Republic and Iraq during the September-October FIFA International match window.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville Soccer Club will have four players representing their countries during the FIFA International match window taking place Sept. 21 to Oct. 6.

  • MLS All-Star Brian Schwake will represent the United States Men’s National Team for the first time. The USMNT will play international friendlies against Peru on Sept. 26, Chile on Sept. 29, Mexico on October 3 and Canada on Oct. 6.
  • Midfielder Patrick Yazbek will represent the Australian Men’s National Team. The Socceroos will play a pair of friendlies vs. Brazil on Sept. 25 and Sept. 29. Yazbek has nine caps and one assist for Australia.
  • Goalkeeper Xavier Valdez will represent the Federación Dominicana de Fútbol during the Group Stage of the Concacaf Nations League (League A). The Dominican Republic plays Nicaragua on Sept. 24 and Oct. 4, Trinidad and Tobago on Sept. 27 and Haiti on Oct. 1. Valdez has eight clean sheets in 22 international appearances.
  • Midfielder Ahmed Qasem will represent the Iraq Men’s National Team during the Group Stage of the Arabian Gulf Cup. Iraq will face Oman on Sept. 23, Kuwait on Sept. 26 and Saudi Arabia on Sept. 29. Qasem has six caps for Iraq, including three appearances during the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
