Ceremony Announces Third Annual Festival Featuring Sleep Theory, Holding Absence, Holywatr & More
Ceremony returns to Nashville on October 17 with expanded experience, national talent, and rising next-generation artists.
NASHVILLE, TN — Ceremony has officially announced its third annual event, returning to Nashville on October 17, 2026, at Cannery Hall. Following two breakout years that helped establish Ceremony as one of the fastest-growing alternative music festivals in the Southeast, the 2026 edition marks the festival’s biggest expansion and experience yet.
Taking place across four stages throughout Cannery Hall and its newly expanded outdoor footprint, Ceremony Festival 2026 will feature a diverse mix of national touring artists, breakout newcomers, and local talent spanning alternative, rock, emo, indie, pop-punk, metalcore, and genre-bending modern heavy music.
This year marks the festival’s largest expansion to date with the addition of a fourth stage — a brand-new outdoor main stage experience located in Cannery Hall’s parking lot. The outdoor stage will host this year’s headlining performances from Memphis based breakout rock act Sleep Theory and Welsh post-hardcore favorites Holding Absence.
Beyond the music, Ceremony 2026 will feature an expanded outdoor festival footprint including vendor pop-ups curated by the Nashville Punk Rock Flea Market, local food truck vendors, live art installations and painting from Visual Minds, and an on-site tattoo pop-up experience hosted by Kind Tattoo Parlor.
A limited discounted earlybird presale is available now exclusively to subscribers of the festival’s text and email list. General on-sale is set for Friday, June 5.

“Ceremony started as an idea to create a home for alternative music in Nashville,” says Ceremony founder Nick DeLouise. “What’s been incredible is seeing fans traveling from across the country to be part of it. Every year, we’ve tried to build something that feels less like a traditional festival and more like a community — where fans discover their next favorite artist alongside artists they already love.”
Since launching in 2024, Ceremony Festival has quickly developed a reputation for spotlighting artists on the verge of breakout success while bringing together multiple corners of the alternative scene under one roof.
The inaugural festival featured performances from artists including jxdn, MOD SUN, and KennyHoopla, while the 2025 edition expanded with performers such as Sueco, Jutes, Rain City Drive, and Weathers.
In 2025, Ceremony welcomed attendees from dozens of states across the U.S., continuing its growth as a destination event for fans of alternative and heavy music.
