Nashville, TN: Adventure Science Center today announced the launch of Adventure Academy, a new tier of summer camp programming designed specifically for rising kindergarteners. Debuting this summer as part of the Center’s expanded 10-week camp season running May 25 through July 31, Adventure Academy offers young learners their first immersive, science-rich camp experience in a setting built for their age and curiosity.

Adventure Academy launches with two themed weeks: Fossil Friends: Dig, Play, Learn (June 1–5), an introduction to paleontology through fossil-making, dig pits, amber stone crafts, and live science demonstrations; and Tiny Travelers: Biome Adventures (July 27–31), a week-long journey across five of Earth’s major biomes—forests, oceans, grasslands, tundra, and deserts—through activities including dam-building, safari scavenger hunts, camouflage experiments, and a planetarium visit. Both camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Adventure Academy joins an already robust summer offering at Adventure Science Center. Campers in rising 1st through 5th grade can choose from five week-long themes—Chemistry: Chemists in Action, Wizardry: Mix It Like Magic!, Space: Journey Through the Galaxy, Inventors Unleashed: Build, Test, Discover, and Physics: Super-Powered Science!—each offered twice across the summer season. Also new this year are Specialty Camps for rising 6th through 8th graders, featuring Camp 3D: Drones, Dive, & Drive and Forces of Nature: Disaster Discovery.

Registration for all summer camps is now open. Full camp descriptions, schedules, and registration information are available at adventuresci.org/camps. For questions, contact the Camp Office at [email protected] or (615) 401-5077.
