Iconic Nashville Venue 3rd & Lindsley Secures Future with New Lease

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In a major win for Nashville’s independent music scene, beloved venue 3rd & Lindsley has signed a new lease extension, ensuring the storied stage will remain a fixture in the city’s cultural landscape .

At a time when independent venues across the country are facing unprecedented challenges—from rising rents and operational costs to shifting post-covid habits—venue owner Ron Brice is reaffirming his commitment to the Nashville community with this new lease.

“This place is more than a venue—it’s an integral piece of Nashville’s live music ecosystem, providing a home for artists, fans, and our amazing team. We want the community to know we’re not going anywhere, we’re doubling down on what it means to be an independent venue in today’s Nashville,” said Brice. “This lease is a promise—to our incredible musician family, to the fans who’ve created countless memories in our room, and to the next generation coming up.”

Since opening its doors over three decades ago, 3rd & Lindsley has been a cornerstone of the city’s independent music ecosystem. The venue has nurtured emerging talent, hosted unforgettable performances, and served as a platform to countless artists who have gone on to global acclaim. As 3rd & Lindsley looks toward the future, February 2026 will mark its 35th anniversary—a milestone that will be celebrated by paying homage to its history and future with a series of special anniversary shows soon to be announced.
