Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE: Art-inspired Floral Showcase Comes to Cheekwood
A Stunning Display Combines Art, Flowers, and Creativity.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A global flower show sensation that has captivated audiences across the world brings a stunning exhibition to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens.
Fleurs de Villes, or Flowers of Cities, has created over 130 one-of-a-kind, fresh flower events across 30 major cities in five countries. The 10-day exhibition will be the first time the intricate floral arrangements will adorn a historic estate in the United States.
Fleurs de Villes uses mannequins as a canvas to showcase intricate designs featuring fresh flowers. During the exhibition, Cheekwood is pleased to host 12 floral mannequins and a fan-favorite contest. The mannequins will be installed throughout Cheekwood’s Botanic Hall, Frist Learning Center, and the Historic Mansion and Museum.
The theme of the display is inspired by portraits in Cheekwood’s permanent art collection and will be brought to life by Nashville’s top floral designers.
"We are very excited to see beautiful works from Cheekwood's permanent art collection transformed into floral masterpieces,” said Jane MacLeod, President and CEO of Cheekwood. “Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE represents a unique way to showcase the art beyond our galleries and highlight floral design. The exquisite display set against the backdrop of our historic estate will provide a memorable and inspiring experience for guests.”
“Fleurs de Villes shows are anchored in history, art, and culture, making Cheekwood the ideal setting for our first-ever grand estate show in the United States,” said Karen Marshall, Co-founder of Fleurs de Villes. “We’re delighted to bring ARTISTE to Nashville for the first time—at a location where history, art, and nature are so beautifully intertwined—and to showcase the city’s extraordinary floral talent against such an inspiring backdrop.”
Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE will be on view from August 1 – 10, 2025.
