Flea Style, Home of the Original Hat Bar, Opens Second Nashville Store

Flea Style’s second Nashville store is located inside the entry corner space at the exciting, revamped Arcade project downtown across from the Bobby Hotel.

NASHVILLE, TN – Look out, Nashville, Flea Style – home of the original hat bar – is opening a second Music City store downtown this May! This is the Dallas-based retailer’s eighth brick-and-mortar and third out-of-state location. Last May, Flea Style expanded to Tennessee, taking over a 2,500 square foot home in Nashville’s popular 12 South neighborhood next door to LoveShackFancy.

Flea Style’s second Nashville store is located inside the entry corner space at the exciting, revamped Arcade project downtown across from the Bobby Hotel. The store includes Flea Style’s famous hat bar concept as well as a curated mix of women’s clothing, jewelry, accessories, and gifts with a boho-western spirit.

“We love Nashville,” says Brittany Cobb, Flea Style CEO and founder. “It’s been such a natural fit for our brand, and we’re excited to expand across the city. We’re excited to be near downtown’s energetic landmarks from Printer’s Alley to Broadway.”

Flea Style’s downtown store looks and feels very different from its cute 12 South cottage location. Expect soaring 18-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling antique windows and walls dripping with vintage wallpaper Cobb collected at flea markets and had painstakingly applied by local artisans to honor the building’s roots and spirit.

Inside, Flea Style’s famous hat bar concept takes center stage with a 16-foot antique wood bar and tables thoughtfully loaded with hats, accessories and patches for customers to design the topper of their dreams from wool wide brims to exclusive foam truckers.

Flea Style custom designs its unisex wool, straw and vinyl trucker hats ensuring customers will not find the styles and colors anywhere else. After selecting their hat of choice, visitors are guided towards the multiple tables filled with curated accessories from feathers, brooches and matchbooks to pins, suede wraps and fabric bands. There is also a heat press in the house to patch hats.

Cobb combs flea markets monthly from Texas to California to source and offer most of the bars’ vintage items. Flea Style also partners with American makers to create one-of-a-kind accents from leather hat bands to gemstone bullet casing pins.

Once customers finalize their hat and accessories selections, they’re invited to sit at the bar and watch Flea Style’s talented stylists bring their hat to life. Guests are welcome to walk in and build the hat of their dreams or book an appointment online at fleastyle.com to skip the line (all reservations include a complimentary hat box and their choice of a Ranch Water or hat band).

Flea Style has designed custom hats for celebrities and music legends including Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Leon Bridges, Post Malone, Ricky Martin and Pitbull. This summer, Flea Style pre-sales its exciting, upcoming book How to Style a Hat published by Abrams (official release date is April 2026).

Flea Style will open to the public at 2 The Arcade Nashville, TN 37219 on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Flea Style’s 12 South location is located at 1205 Linden Avenue. For more information about Flea Style, please visit fleastyle.com or via Instagram @fleastyle.

Flea Style, formerly dubbed The Dallas Flea, is the brainchild of owner and former lifestyle editor Brittany Cobb. A lifelong love of flea markets and vintage treasure hunting inspired Cobb to start The Dallas Flea in 2009 as a one-time holiday shopping event. The company has evolved over the years from launching multiple large-scale markets to its first retail store in downtown Dallas in 2018. In January 2021, Flea Style opened its first original hat bar concept and launched a private hat collection with Stetson. Today the brand designs and manufacturers its entire hat line and has stores across Texas, Kentucky and Tennessee. Flea Style has two hotel store partnership deals with Marriott and Omni Hotels.
