615 Day Kick-Off at Drift Hotel
From 11am-3pm on June 15th, Do615 is kicking off 615 Day with a FREE all-ages pool party at Drift Hotel (10 Interstate Drive), featuring local vendors, live music, and special deals. Breakfast, lunch, and coffee will be available from 7am-4pm and curated bites from Banwari, Drift’s new poolside food partner, will be available at the pool deck. Plus, a percentage of proceeds will go to Music Venue Alliance Nashville (MVAN), a local nonprofit organization advocating for independent music venues, promoters, and festivals throughout the Greater Nashville region.
Do615 and Drift have partnered to giveaway a 2-night stay from Saturday, June 14th - Monday, June 16th in a City View King for the celebration. They’re also offering special discounted rates for locals to celebrate 615 Day.
Alanna Royale performs at Drift from 11am-3pm. Royale is a Nashville-based R&B and soul singer known for her fearless presence, raw vulnerability, and genre-defying sound. Her latest album Trouble Is, produced by Kelly Finnigan of Monophonics, marks her most personal and poetic work yet—born from a period of deep emotional upheaval, self-reckoning, and artistic transformation. Since bursting onto the scene in 2013, Royale has headlined festivals and pushed boundaries with her powerful voice and outspoken spirit.
Six One Tribe at Basement East
615 Day has always held a significant place in local Nashville culture—used as a time for the community to focus on itself and the art and businesses from here. In 2024, hip-hop collective Six One Trïbe and Trïbe Over Everything Productions worked to formalize the day, receiving a Mayoral Proclamation from Mayor Freddie O’Connell:
“The artists and dreamers, the designers and chefs, the visionaries and locals, and the native, black, and urban people that make up the cultural underground of Nashville have been a driving force in preserving the authentic identity of our city, even as it grows and changes…
Therefore I, Freddie O’Connell, 10th Mayor of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County do hereby declare June 15th 615 Day, to celebrate everything Nashville, and I encourage our city’s creatives to lift each other up, honor the identity you’ve created, and keep dreaming.”
ACE Horns present An Evening with Silk Sonic at 3rd & Lindsley
The much-in-demand local collaboration, ACE Horns, composed of Roy Agee, Evan Cobb, and Emmanuel Echem, take their craft to spotlight one of the most notable albums of the 2020s, An Evening with Silk Sonic. The performance is a fantastic 12-piece band filled with Nashville's finest soul and R&B players.
June 15 marks 615 Day, a celebration of all things Nashville, paying tribute to the city’s most iconic area code. Established in 1954, 615 has been the numeric signature of Music City for decades. Even as new area codes have emerged, 615 remains a cultural emblem—a proud symbol for locals, creatives, and businesses rooted in the heart of Tennessee. From country music and hot chicken to honky-tonks and history, 615 isn’t just a number—it’s a way of life.

About Music Venue Alliance Nashville
Music Venue Alliance Nashville is a nonprofit organization representing Nashville's treasured independent venues, promoters, and festivals. MVAN is committed to retaining, nurturing, and advocating for the fragile and complex ecosystem of Nashville's renowned music scene. MVAN works tirelessly to enlighten, educate, and heighten awareness of what it means to be independent, and in this mission of advocacy and appreciation, to ensure many more decades of independent business success and prosperity. MVAN was created to rally both federal and local support during the height of the pandemic to help keep the doors open for many of Nashville's independent venues. Most recently, the organization was instrumental in the creation of TN's new Live Music Fund, and 615 Indie Live, a festival celebrating Nashville's independent music scene.
