Adventure Science Center Explores The Human Body & Celebrates 80 Years in October

Special events include Way Late Play Date, Fall Break Camp, Bowie and Fright Light laser shows, and an 80th Birthday Bash.

Nashville, TN: This October, Adventure Science Center invites guests to explore one of the most fascinating frontiers: the human body. Throughout the month, visitors will discover hands-on activities that highlight anatomy, movement, senses, and the remarkable ways our bodies help us experience the world.

In addition to the month-long theme, Adventure Science Center will host a full calendar of special events:

  • Way Late Play Date: RETROspective RewindFriday, October 3
    Adults 21+ are invited for a nostalgic night of science, music, and retro fun.
  • Fall Break Camp Monday, October 13 – Friday, October 17
    Campers will dive into interactive science explorations designed to spark curiosity and creativity through all five senses.
  • David Bowie Laser Show – Sudekum Planetarium Saturday, October 18
    A dazzling tribute to Bowie’s greatest hits, set to spectacular laser effects.
  • Fright Light Laser Show – Sudekum Planetarium Saturday, October 25; Sunday, October 26; Friday, October 31
    A Halloween favorite featuring spooky music and hair-raising laser visuals.
  • 80th Birthday Bash Friday, October 31
    Celebrate our spook-tacular birthday with hands-on activities inspired by 1945, the year they first opened our doors. Costumes are encouraged! Event is included with general admission.
