Nashville, TN – Adventure Science Center is proud to announce the grand opening of its new Education Center, a significant expansion designed to meet the growing demand for accessible, high-quality STEM education across Tennessee. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, August 13 at 10:00 AM at Adventure Science Center.

This new Education Center features two advanced, state-of-the-art classrooms, dramatically increasing the Science Center’s capacity to deliver curriculum-aligned STEM programs for K–12 students, educators, and families.

In 2024 alone, Adventure Science Center served over 26,000 students on field trips, with nearly 17,000 participating in immersive STEM experiences such as science labs, live demonstrations, workshops, and planetarium shows. The new classrooms will enable even greater reach and impact, particularly for programs like TWISTER and CR3W—signature initiatives focused on career development and workforce awareness for high school students.

The new classrooms were made possible thanks to generous support from Advance Financial Foundation, Dettwiller Foundation, HCA Healthcare, HCA Healthcare Foundation, Marlene and Spencer Hays Foundation, Fox Family Charitable Trust, Enterprise Solutions, Truist Foundation, and Carolyn Smith Foundation, whose commitment to equitable STEM access is helping fuel the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.

The August 13 event will bring together community leaders, educators, board members, and supporters to commemorate the opening and explore the new space. Guests are invited to attend the ribbon cutting, tour the classrooms, and learn more about how the center is shaping the future of STEM education in Tennessee.
