The 22nd Annual Tomato Art Fest Returns to East Nashville This Weekend August 8–9

Along with the Art Show Pre-View Party on Thursday, August 7.

NASHVILLE, TN — Tomato Art Fest, one of Tennessee’s most beloved and offbeat festivals, returns to East Nashville this Friday and Saturday, August 8–9, bringing two days of tomato-themed art, music, art, and community celebration to Five Points.

Now in its 22nd year, the award-winning festival continues its mission of celebrating unity through creativity, with this year’s theme once again honoring The Tomato: A Uniter, Not a Divider. The festival kicks off Friday evening with live music on the 37206 Main Stage presented by Busch Light starting at 5:30 pm alongside food trucks and select vendors offering a preview of Saturday’s full festival experience.

Saturday begins at 9 a.m. with the fan-favorite Push, Pull & Wear Parade, a whimsical procession of tomato-inspired costumes and fanfare through the streets of East Nashville. The day continues with two live music stages, more than 225 local vendors, food and drink, tomato art installations, and a full lineup of quirky contests, including the Beautiful Tomato Contest, the ever-popular Costume Contest, and more than 20 additional competitions that celebrate creativity in all its forms.

Festivalgoers are encouraged to come dressed in tomato-themed attire and take part in what has become one of Nashville’s most iconic summer traditions. Tomato Art Fest is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Full music lineups, contest schedules, and registration details are available at TomatoArtFest.com.

The Art Show Pre View Party on Thursday is a ticketed event and provides the first look at the 2025 Art Show. The Bloody Mary Garden Party is the other ticketed event held inside Tomato Art Fest on Saturday, August 9 from 10 am - 1 pm. Tickets and information are at TomatoArtFest.com/tickets.
