Coral Club to Open in East Nashville on May 25

7 days a week from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Locally-based, seasoned hospitality and cocktail veterans Aaron Izaguirre, Matthew Izaguirre, Kristopher Esqueda, and Brice Hoffman will open Coral Club on Saturday, May 25. Tucked away off of East Nashville’s busy Gallatin Pike, Coral Club is the epitome of a warm respite, aiming to bring a sense of escape and a lively atmosphere to Nashville locals and travelers alike.

Coral Club will offer imbibers a refreshing, rejuvenating, and welcoming experience, providing top-tier hospitality to all guests. The cool, calm, organic interiors, stately stone bar, and open-air rooftop allow patrons an opportunity to get away, transporting them beyond the noise of the city and into a coastal-inspired oasis. The technically-skilled bartenders will serve a wide range of fresh, hand-crafted cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and a curated list of wine and beer rivaling any top beverage program in the city.

The team continues to invite community members that love supporting local, independently-owned businesses to participate in a crowd-led investment fundraiser hosted by WeFunder, a crowdfunding service that connects startups with investors online. Investments can start at as little as $250, and investor perks begin at the $500 mark. Additional details can be found at wefunder.com/coralclub.

On the Menu

The team is committed to providing a cocktail menu that is approachable and inclusive of all palates – classic, and seasonally inspired drinks will include specialty palomas, various freezer martinis, old-fashioneds, and coolers. Menu highlights include a Rosé Paloma (dry rosé, salt, grapefruit), White Port Cooler (gin, white port, lemon, cucumber, strawberry, tonic), Sunliner (mezcal, Cynar, passionfruit, lemon, honey, and orange), Côte d'Azur (unaged brandy, blanc vermouth, apricot, pineapple, lime, absinthe), and more. The bar will be stocked full of beer and wine imported from around the globe, as well as a selection of non-alcoholic beverages that are just as fun and intentional as the rest of the menu. Guests can expect to be well taken care of by experienced bartenders working with top-quality ingredients, garnishes, and house-made syrups. The ever-changing cocktails will feature spirits reminiscent of travels such as mezcal, rum, and dry rosé, as well as bright flavor profiles utilizing fresh fruits such as pineapple, passionfruit, apricot, and grapefruit. All ingredients are hand-selected to evoke a sense of nostalgia of previous travels or inspire dreams for the future, transporting guests to coastal destinations such as Greece, Mallorca, Croatia, the Amalfi Coast, and beyond.

Coral Club will offer a curated selection of bar snacks to accompany the drink menu, which will include  Black Truffle Popcorn, a Marcona Almond and Olive Mix, Tinned Fish with Spanish Peppers and a Lavosh Cracker, a Meat & Cheese Plate (Mortadella, Parmesan Chunks, Aged Balsamic, Breadstick), and Mediterranean Chips with Iberico Salchicha and Aioli.

Design

Coral Club has been working with multidisciplinary design and architecture firm, Studio YUDA to create a space that will evoke a seaside town far away. Through the use of various textures and neutral hues, Coral Club will be a wabi-sabi sanctuary welcoming guests with a sense of discovery. A calming, processional entryway offers a glimpse into the bar’s Main Lounge, which boasts a focal point made of concrete, stone, and plaster promoting thoughtful and intimate conversation within the lounge oasis. A monolithic approach to color induces a sense of tranquility throughout the dimly lit room, with coral plaster walls, raw stone and wood structures, concrete tables, cozy seating, and natural vegetation effortlessly layered throughout. Fabric wall coverings will delicately soften the lounge, and driftwood-esque eucalyptus pole ceilings and wall accents lend to an effortless transition into each dedicated space. As guests continue through generous white oak sliding doors, they will find the bright and open Sun Parlor, featuring an abundance of windows, lounge seating for small parties, and plenty of standing drink rails organically shaped around stone walls. A lush Rooftop Patio provides views of East and Downtown Nashville and is adorned with greenery, concrete bistro tables, and seating for parties of drinkers throughout.
