The free five-week concert series kicks off on May 19.

NASHVILLE, TN – (April 20, 2023)Centennial Park Conservancy announced today that Musicians Corner, Nashville’s free concert series, returns this spring with a five-week season of live music in Centennial Park, kicking off May 19. The multi-genre series will showcase a variety of performers at 12 concerts over the course of five weeks. Musicians Corner will take place every Friday from 5 - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 12 - 6 p.m. from May 19 to June 17, with a special Sunday performance over Memorial Day Weekend (May 28), and a special Thursday performance on June 8 by the Nashville Symphony.

“We’re thrilled to unveil another exciting season of Musicians Corner,” said Justin Branam, Musicians Corner Executive Producer. “As one of Centennial Park Conservancy’s most beloved annual events, Musicians Corner has brought the community together to celebrate Nashville’s vast music scene each year since 2010. We can’t wait to once again celebrate the unifying power of music with our friends and neighbors this spring in Centennial Park.”

Centennial Park Conservancy’s Musicians Corner has grown into an annual, free outdoor concert series that touts Nashville’s diverse musical landscape and attracts over 75,000 fans annually to Centennial Park. The family-friendly and pet-friendly concert series also features Kidsville activities and local artisans, plus food and beverage vendors that contribute to the renowned fun and communal appeal of the series.

Musicians Corner spring line-up will feature multi-genre performances from artists including Jordy Searcy, Savannah Conley, Blessing Offor, The Brummies, and the Nashville Symphony. The 2023 series kicks off on May 19 and May 20 with performances from Nikki Lane, Seratones, Alanna Royale, Jackie Venson, and more.

The spring series also includes the return of Musicians Corner’s three-day Memorial Day Weekend Celebration with performances Friday, May 26 from 5 - 9 p.m., Saturday, May 27 from 12 - 6 p.m., and Sunday, May 28 from 12 - 6 p.m. The special event is made possible with support from the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, and will feature performances by Hayes Carll, Amythyst Kiah, Ricky Young & Joel King of The Wild Feathers, and more.

"For years, the NCVC has been pleased to support Centennial Park and partner with the Conservancy's Musicians Corner program, a great concert series that celebrates local artists and diverse music genres in Music City,” said Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp President Deana Ivey. “We look forward to Memorial Day Weekend becoming a new tradition for both local families and visitors to enjoy free music in Nashville's most historic and central park."

On June 16, Centennial Park Conservancy and American Cancer Society will partner to present Night of Hope at Musicians Corner. The event will offer live music, food, and fun for the whole family while honoring and remembering those impacted by cancer. At the event, American Cancer Society will host a luminaria ceremony and share screening guidelines with the community.

"We believe this is a special partnership as the community comes together to enjoy music and fellowship all while fighting to end cancer as we know it for everyone," stated Audrey Williams, Director of Development for American Cancer Society.

More artists are slated to be announced later this month. In addition to live music, each event will also feature artisan vendors, craft beer, wine, and cocktails, local food trucks, Kidsville activities, and featured community partners.

Musicians Corner will also return in September for its annual fall series with events each Friday evening in September, including a special event in conjunction with AMERICANAFEST on Friday, September 22 as well as the return of the annual Musicians Corner Fall Market on Saturday, September 30.
