Summer Shakespeare - Since 1988, Nashvillians have enjoyed a night of theatre under the stars with fun, energetic renditions of Shakespeare with a distinctive Nashville twist of original music by local composers and songwriters. It's a full evening of family entertainment, with a pre-show concert series, food trucks, and informative pre-show talks. Bring your own chair or blanket for free seating ($10 suggested donation per person). VIP reserved seating available. Winter Shakespeare - NSF partners with local Universities and venues to produce indoor professional theatre each winter. School matinee performances available. Since 1988, the Nashville Shakespeare Festival has provided professional, free, accessible, outdoor theatre each summer that has served audiences from all economic backgrounds, employing hundreds of theatre artists, and engaging thousands of patrons and volunteers.
