About This Spot
The Listening Room first opened its doors in historic Franklin, TN, in 2006. As a singer and songwriter himself, Founder and President Chris Blair realized a need for a venue that supported the local community of songwriters, while offering top quality acoustics and technology. In 2008, Blair relocated the venue to Cummins Station, where it grew quickly in popularity and took its place as one of the best venues in Nashville to hear both established and up-and-coming songwriters play their own original songs. The Listening Room now resides in the vibrant neighborhood of SoBro, just a stone’s throw from the popular Broadway strip. Continuing to grow in reputation and demand, The Listening Room is now one of the city’s most popular attractions for locals and tourists alike.
