Locally owned Italian restaurant IL Forno is a synergy of fresh ingredients and centuries-old traditions. Driven by a passion for the craft of traditional Neapolitan pizza, Italian native, Egidio Franciosa built a loyal following from his successful mobile pizzeria and opened his first brick & mortar in 2021.
In addition to wood fired pizzas he created a made-from-scratch menu to include fresh pasta, delicious salads, appetizers and desserts in a welcoming ambiance with modern décor. A hand painted mural of the legendary Italian actress Sophia Loren greets guests and the open kitchen allows diners to be immersed in the alchemy of wood fired pizza as the dough is artfully stretched by hand and cooked in a 900 degree brick oven, imported directly from Naples.
