Nashville's calendar is blaring with plenty of free live music events to choose from. From celebrating the last day of the year, and the beginning of the next, to one of the country's largest fireworks show accompanied by our Nashville Symphony, Nashville has the events to keep your play-list alive with great songs and good times.

Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve in Nashville

Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve in Nashville celebration brings thousands of partygoers to Nashville each year. The free event offers live music, fireworks, and a midnight Music Note Drop® for partygoers.

Arrington Vineyard Barn

Arrington Vineyards hosts Music in the Vines every year from April through October every Saturday and Sunday. They offer two live music locations with the music lasting from 3-7pm. It's all free and the perfect chance to listen to great music and taste amazing wine!

Musicians Corner
Musicians Corner

Musicians Corner presents free outdoor concerts in Nashville’s Centennial Park. The events are free for all ages and feature multi-genre performances, food trucks, craft beer, wine, signature cocktails, local artisans, and activities for children. Join each Friday and Saturday in May and June, and on Thursday and Friday evenings in September.

CMA Fest
CMA Fest Riverfront Stage

There is so much FREE music at CMA Music Festival, you don't even need a ticket to catch some great concerts! There are multiple stages throughout Downtown Nashville hosting free live music each day. Some of the big artists who have played in the past include Charles Esten, A Thousand Horses, Brothers Osborne, Chris Carmack, and so many more.

Jazz on the Cumberland

Every third Sunday from May until October, Nashville jams out at Cumberland Park during Jazz on the Cumberland. All the music is provided by local jazz acts and is FREE to all.

Bluegrass Nights

Each summer the Ryman Auditorium hosts Bluegrass Nights at The Ryman presenting the biggest names in bluegrass on the very stage where the genre was born in 1945. Before every show is the free Pickin' on the Plaza live concert featuring a top regional bluegrass band.

Tomato Art Festival
Tomato Art Festival Performance

Put on by the owners of the Art and Invention Gallery, the Tomato Art Festival is an art show celebrating the tomato during late summer. The festival is free and takes place in East Nashville’s Five Points area. There are multiple stages throughout the area, which hosts free music for everyone to enjoy.

Just before Labor Day, Lightning 100 hosts a free outdoor concert series in Public Square Park. So grab your lawn chair and enjoy the weather while listening to some great live music.

Oktoberfest

Live German music, authentic polka dancing, strolling accordion players, and authentic German food and beverages bring the historic Germantown neighborhood to life. Enjoy four stages of free entertainment.
