What's new for Nashville's Food Scene
In Music City, new restaurants are opening up all the time, and most places change their menu each season. It can be hard to keep up with all the new happenings in Nashville's growing food scene, but not any more. Now stay up to date with what restaurants are coming, just opened, now closed, and the latest menu updates.
A new craft beer brewery called TailGate Beer has opened in Nashville on Charlotte Pike. They have a tasting room that is open daily.
Prima is now open in The Gulch featuring a great restaurant space, a diverse menu with Mediterranean cuisine, and an inspiring wine list.
TailGate Taproom just opened off Charlotte Pike in Bellevue. The taproom will feature a draft and growler filling system with 20 taps.
Magnolia South is a new restaurant located in Midtown featuring southern cuisine with a twist of French influence.
Uncle C's New Orleans Style Fried Chicken
Now open in Nashville is Uncle C's New Orleans Style Fried Chicken featuring hot chicken items in four different heat levels: "wise", "risky", "absurd", and "tomfoolery".
Sam Katakura, former owner of Sam's Sushi Bar, opened his new sushi outpost at ACME Feed & Seed. It is located on the second floor and open 5-10pm daily.
Love, Peace, and Pho
Love, Peace, and Pho have opened their doors in the 8th Avenue South neighborhood. The menu features a bunch of classic choices plus a selection of bowls of Pho, the popular traditional Vietnamese noodle dish.
City Winery located in Nashville's SoBro district is now open to the public. It's a restaurant, winery, and music venue all rolled into one. To see the lineup and for more information take a look at: citywinery.com/nashville.
Party Fowl in The Gulch specializes in Nashville Hot and Southern Fried Chicken but offers a much broader menu with local brew, craft cocktails and a wine list. partyfowlnashville.com
A new Juice Bar has opened in the Berry Hill neighborhood. Juice Bar is a vegetarian, gluten-free, and 100% whole fruits & vegetables smoothie and juice shop.
Chauhan Ale and Masala House
Chauhan Ale & Masala House is a new Indian restaurant in the North Gulch. Their official grand opening will be November 18 and they are currently taking reservations. For updates check out: facebook.com/ChauhanNashville.
A new modern diner called Fenwick's 300 will move into the Melrose area on Franklin Road. It will serve breakfast all day plus sandwiches and entrees with plenty of vegetarian options. Read more from the Nashville Scene.

Texas de Brazil
It is official. Batch has secured a spot inside the Nashville Farmers' Market for their bricks-and-mortar retail store. Read more from the Nashville Eater.

The Vine is a new restaurant and wine bar planning to soft open on October 24. It will be located in East Nashville's Fifth and Main and will feature a seasonal menu of classic American fare, along with a number of affordable by-the-glass and by-the-bottle wine options. Zumi Sushi in Hillsboro Village will reboot as Lucky Belly, a new venture featuring both burgers and sushi. They will close Zumi after Thanksgiving in hopes to open Lucky Belly before the middle of December. Read more from the Nashville Scene.
TEMPUR CHOCOLATE CO. LLC
A European-influenced chocolate-making operation, Tempur Chocolate Co., will come to the Germantown area, with hopes to open by early December. Read more from the Nashville Post.

Butcher and Bee
The popular Charleston restaurant Butcher and Bee has confirmed plans to open a second location in Nashville. The plans are to open late 2015 in East Nashville. Read more from The Post and Courier.
arnold's kitchen expansion
Arnold's Country Kitchen plans to expand to include more kitchen space, more seats, and additional renovations. The expansion will double the restaurant's size and they hope to have everything finished by summer of 2015. Read more from The Tennessean.
