FOOD RECOVERY Every year Tons of viable catered, often, gourmet food is thrown into the trash. Caterers, Convention Hall, Hotels, Convenience Stores, Colleges, and others simply waste an incredible resource that could bring the numbers of food insecure in Music City down dramatically. FOOD DISTRIBUTION In three and a half years, working part-time, CKO has rescued over 100 tons of viable food and served over 300,000 meals to our Distribution Network of Ministry and Community Outreach partners that provide a wide range of public services ranging from substance abuse, speech and education and job training, the Homeless, as well as trafficked and displaced children to name a few. It is our honor to be able to support the people in these communities of need doing these vital services every day. COMMUNITY CARE ​Our goal is to establish an unfettered access to service by collecting food in neighborhoods of need. This will lower food insecurity and create a community of collaboration.
