Authentic Nashville for Groups

Day 1

Welcome to Nashville!  Start your experience with southern hospitality by booking a Music City Welcome at the Visitor Information Center.  Groups will be greeted by a knowledgeable, friendly CVC staffer who will provide valuable information and ideas on how to spend your time downtown.

Your first afternoon in Music City is the perfect time to discover the Soul of Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium!  Your group’s visit to this National Historic Landmark begins with a state-of-the-art theater experience that puts you in the center of the Ryman’s fascinating history as more than a century of legendary performances come to life around you.

Nashville’s food scene is almost as hot as our music scene, so delight your hungry group with some southern cooking at one of our fun friendly restaurants..

Nothing says Nashville like a night at The Grand Ole Opry!  Dedicated to honoring country music’s rich history and dynamic present, the Opry showcases a mix of country legends and the contemporary chart-toppers who have followed in their footsteps. After your group takes in the performance from the front of the house, stick around for an inside look at what goes on behind the curtain during a post-show Opry Backstage Tour!

Day 2

The star treatment is what Nashville does best and the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum wants your group to be a Star for a Day! Your morning begins on Nashville’s famed Music Row with a personally guided tour of Historic RCA Studio B, Nashville’s legendary recording studio and “Home of 1,000 Hits.” Your group will be inspired during a recording session directed by a sound engineer right where Elvis himself stood to record over 200 songs!

Next your group is off to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, where you will be immersed in the history and sounds of country music at the largest museum dedicated to popular music in the world!  While there, discover the Stories Behind the Songs in a private session with one of Nashville’s hitmaking songwriters.

After the excitement of recording and performing, your group will be ready to sample Music City’s food scene.  Treat them to a delicious lunch at one of our fun friendly spots.

After lunch, enjoy free time downtown!  Walk the Music City Walk of Fame, a landmark tribute to those from all genres of music who have contributed to the world through song. Visit Hatch Show Print, one of America’s oldest working letterpress print shops, for a fresh print to remember your time in Nashville.  Make sure to stop by the Goo Goo Cluster Shop & Dessert Bar to sample the world’s first combination candy bar! Take an afternoon stroll across the Pedestrian Bridge for panoramic views of our ever-growing city skyline before heading back to Broadway.  You never know who you’ll see on stage in Music City, so be sure to soak up some free live music day and night on Honky Tonk Highway

Day 3

Spend the morning learning why Nashville was known as “The Athens of the South” long before it was known as Music City at The Parthenon, the world’s only full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece.

Belle Meade Plantation invites your group to delve into the rich history of this lovely home and estate dedicated to the preservation of Tennessee’s Victorian architecture, history, and equestrian legacy. The story of Belle Meade comes alive as period-dressed guides lead your group through the 1853 Greek-Revival Mansion. After the tour, groups will enjoy a complimentary wine tasting. Other options include a Food & Wine Pairing Tour, Culinary Tour and Lunch Tour.

Enjoy lunch and support local craft artisans at the Nashville Farmers’ Market. The Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is right next door, where your group can explore the natural, cultural and historical resources of the area and the state.

Next stop is the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, the only museum in the world that honors the talented musicians that played on the greatest recordings of all time!  While there, your group will have the opportunity to be onstage and interact with every aspect of the recording process in the GRAMMY Museum Gallery.

End your time in Music City on a high note at The Music of Nashville Dinner Show at the Nashville Palace! Your group will be entertained by 60 years of Nashville’s most memorable songs and the stories behind them!
