Statehood Day Celebration 2026

As the United States honors its 250th anniversary, Tennessee will celebrate the 230th anniversary of becoming a state on June 1. To commemorate the occasion, the Museum's two-day celebration on Saturday, May 30 and Monday, June 1 will include a variety of fun events for families, including a special short film and display of the original Tennessee state flag, a State of Tennessee employee photography exhibit, live music, and children's crafts and games. There will also be museum and historic partners from around the state, Storytime with Miss Tennessee, crafts, music, history tours, celebratory cupcakes, and more!
