Sista Griot: The Iconoclastic Art of Barbara Bullock

This exhibition presents the powerful and relevant artwork of Nashville-based artist Barbara Bullock, who turned to full-time art making as part of her physical recovery after a debilitating stroke. Bullock's style evolved from detailed graphite illustrations to vibrant paintings that challenge realistic spatial construction, influenced by her stroke-induced double vision and the work of M. C. Escher.
