Shakespeare in the Park

Shakespeare in the Park is Nashville’s long-running outdoor theater tradition, presented by the Nashville Shakespeare Festival. Held at the historic Bandshell in Centennial Park, the event brings professional Shakespeare performances to the community in a relaxed, open-air setting. The production features A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare’s beloved comedy filled with mischievous fairies, runaway lovers, magical mix-ups, and playful humor. Attendees can bring blankets or lawn chairs, enjoy food vendors, live music, and pre-show entertainment before experiencing a full-scale theatrical performance under the stars.
