The French Quarter lands in the Gulch every first and third Thursday at 9 pm when this seven-piece New Orleans brass band takes over Rudy's. Led by Brook Sutton and Chris Walters, the rotating crew of Nashville's top musicians cooks up a sound that swings between lean street-band setups and full-stage grooves, all rooted in second-line tradition. This is Nashville's only dedicated brass band night for New Orleans music, and the room tends to move when they hit their pocket.
