The Oak Ridge Boys are a country and gospel singing quartet from the United States. Originally known as the Oak Ridge Quartet, they formed the group in the 1940s. During the 1950s, they were prominent in Southern gospel. In the early 1960s, they were renamed The Oak Ridge Boys.
