Nashville bassist, vocalist and entertainer Nalani is known for her versatility and showmanship. Nalani's jazz trio features her versatile vocal improvisations dancing atop intricate, propelling baselines in a range of jazz styles from the Great American Songbook to Latin and Jazz Fusion. Nalani has performed with and is mentored by some of the most legendary names in the bass and music world. These Greats include 5-Time Grammy winners, Victor Wooten and Roy "Future Man" Wooten, Chuck Rainey, Marcus Miller, Regi "The Teacha" Wooten, Bhakti Kumalo (of Paul Simon), and Bobby Vega (of Tower of power). Schooled in Jazz performance with a Bachelor's degree from William Paterson University, but mastered in all styles through 15-plus years of live experience, Nalani has become known for her expertise in all genres.
