In honor of Valentine's Day, The Mockingbird will become "The Lovebirds" for one night only, and is launching a "Love Songs Menu. Specialty cocktails such as "I Wanna Dance With Someboozy," a dirty martini with caviar stuffed cream cheese olives and "French Kissin' in the USA," with Aperol, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur and sparkling rose, fall under their "On The Lips" section of the menu. Starters, or "foreplay" as the menu cheekily calls it, include a beet salad,"It Must've Beet Love," and brown butter and garlic lobster mac and cheese, "Always and For Cheddar." Mains include "Love Me Tender" filets and "How Deep Is Your Love," seared scallops. Finish the night with their decadent olive oil cake, "You Will Olives Be My Baby."
