Many people think of the War of 1812 as the Second American Revolution. We won the first Revolution, so why would we need to fight a second revolution? Find out as we look at Andrew Jackson's victory over the British Army in New Orleans, ending the War of 1812 with a giant victory for the United States. We will hone our skills of spycraft, muster like militiamen, learn about specific men who assisted Andrew Jackson, and practice orienteering and map skills.

This event complements our annual commemoration of the Battle of New Orleans, with special admission fees. Activities are included in the general admission and are available from 10:00 am-3:00 pm. Children ages 0-4 are free but do require a ticket. Mansion tours are included. Rain Date is Thursday, January 15.

To guarantee your spot, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Walk-up tickets are subject to availability.
