Bruce, Brahms, and Schumann

Chamber Music City launches its inaugural season with a world premiere celebrating America's 250th alongside beloved works by Schumann and Brahms. David Bruce's "States of Glory" reimagines American folk tunes through themes of freedom and hope, performed by founding Artistic Director Ji Hye Jung with clarinetist Jose Franch Ballester and cellist Clancy Newman. Pianist Gloria Chien rounds out the evening with Clara Schumann's "Nocturne" and Brahms' Clarinet Trio at Nashville's Clementine.
