Join us on Saturday, May 2nd, at 7:30 PM for a special concert honoring the music of mid-century Brazil.

Thea Danos and the Nashville Samba Society join together for a night of nostalgia and glamour to honor the music of mid-century Brazil. The 1950s through the late 1970s mark a time in Brazilian and American history where borders were crossed and melodies were shared to create the smooth soundtrack we all know and love. The overlapping catalogues of Antônio Carlos Jobim and Francis Albert Sinatra. João Gilberto and Ella Fitzgerald. Thea is consumed by these "chords" of connection and is excited to highlight and share them with you on May 2nd at the Nashville Jazz Workshop with some of the city's finest musicians.
