9 to 5 The Musical

9 to 5 The Musical is based on the 1980 film of the same name with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and a book by Patricia Resnick. Three unlikely friends take control of their workplace and find they can accomplish anything, even in a man's world! As Belmont celebrates a collaboration with Dolly Parton in a campus wide initiative, Dolly U, the musical theatre department is honored to explore Dolly's first Broadway musical with well-known songs like "Backwoods Barbie", "Get Out and Stay Out" and the titular song, "9 to 5".
