Stardust: An Immersive Live Music Experience Comes to the Sudekum Planetarium at Adventure Science Center
The Sudekum Planetarium at Adventure Science Center will present Stardust: An Immersive Music Experience.
Nashville, TN, — This July, the Sudekum Planetarium at Adventure Science Center will present Stardust: An Immersive Music Experience, a live multimedia performance set inside a fully-immersive 360-degree planetarium environment.
Following sold-out performances in Las Vegas, Cleveland, Tacoma, and the Washington, D.C. area, this acclaimed production arrives in Nashville for a limited engagement on July 10, 2026, with performances at 4:15 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Unlike traditional planetarium presentations, Stardust: An Immersive Music Experience is performed live. Las Vegas-based artist John Allen creates and performs an original musical score in real-time during each show using advanced looping technology and live instrumentation.
Paired with immersive 4K, 360-degree visuals of the cosmos, the performance takes audiences on a multi-sensory journey from the surface of the sun to the outer reaches of the galaxy and beyond. Because every musical composition is improvised live, no two performances are ever the same. The show’s innovative format has earned national attention and enthusiastic audience response across the country.
Vegas411.com described the experience as “a visionary, pulse-pounding, awe-inspiring experience,” while TheBay.net called it “amazing, dynamic, and engaging.”
Blending elements of science fiction, cinematic sound design, and live concert performance, Stardust draws inspiration from film scores, ambient electronic music, and the emotional legacy of the space race era.
Allen has spent more than 15 years performing internationally, including sold-out residencies in Las Vegas and tours throughout Europe and North America. Additional information about the artist and his work is available at JohnAllenLoops.com.
Both performances will include an add-on, ticketed VIP post-show experience featuring a behind-the-scenes Q&A session and hands-on access to the instruments and looping technology used during the production.
