60+ Local Artists Featured Across 15 Independent Venues.

by Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp

NASHVILLE615 Indie Live has unveiled its complete roster of performers, bringing the lineup to more than 60 local artists showcased across 15 independent venues on February 7 in Music City. Highlights of this round include rising country star Angie K, indie rocker Ron Gallo, and boundary-pushing DJ/Producer The Whooligan.

“Independent venues are the backbone of our scene in the 615 and crucial incubators of our creative community,” said artist Lewis Stubbs Junior. “A festival dedicated to lifting up the stages that lift us up every day isn’t just an honor to be a part of, it’s what Nashville is all about.”

The complete event schedule is now available on the official event app for iPhone and Android. The app will allow ticket holders to plan their own custom schedule of shows on February 7 from 12 p.m. to 3 a.m. across the 15 participating independent venues. It also features bios and links for the 60+ participating artists.

“615 Indie Live is a perfect example of how Nashville’s music culture is woven throughout our city,” said Deana Ivey, President and CEO, Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “It supports local artists and independent venues while offering visitors and locals the chance to discover great music in unique neighborhoods and intimate venues that are the heart of our city’s live music legacy.”

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit MVAN and its mission to advocate for Nashville’s independent venues, promoters, and festivals, which also includes the organization’s Emergency Relief Fund. Additionally, the festival will donate $2 per ticket this year to WNXP, to help raise money for the nonprofit radio station, which lost its federal funding last year.

“This event goes beyond showcasing the importance of our independent venues and local artists.” said Chris Cobb, President of the Music Venue Alliance Nashville. “It’s about celebrating our community and the foundation of Nashville’s live music ecosystem. We’re looking forward to a great year two.”

615 Indie Live is produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp in partnership with Music Venue Alliance Nashville. Event passes are discounted to $20, including all taxes and fees. These passes grant entry to all participating venues. The event on February 7 will run from noon to 3 a.m. Prices increase to $25 the day of the event.
