Nashville’s 615 Indie Live Announces First Round of Artists
Festival Returns February 7, 2026 in Second Year Celebrating Indie Music Scene.
NASHVILLE – 615 Indie Live announced its initial round of artists today, shining a spotlight on the depth and diversity of Nashville’s vibrant local music community. The event, set to return for its second year on February 7, 2026, celebrates two essential elements of Nashville’s music scene and culture: independent venues and local artists.
The initial announcement once again showcases an eclectic mix of genres ranging from indie rock to jazz, Americana to R&B, and hip hop to country. Highlights include rising Americana songstress Noeline Hoffman, indie rock powerhouse Lilly Hiatt, R&B soul royalty Charles Wigg Walker and bluegrass barnburners Hogslop String Band.
“Nashville’s independent venues have been critical to our band’s career from day one, so it’s an honor to be a part in celebrating and supporting them,” said Matthew Paige of DeeOhGee. “For bands like us, these spaces are like extensions of our homes; safe spaces to hone our craft, test new material, and connect with our community on any night of the week.”
Fifteen independent venues and more than 40 local artists and bands will be featured during 615 Indie Live, which is once again produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp in partnership with Music Venue Alliance Nashville. Event passes are $20, including all taxes and fees, and grant entry to all participating venues, with a price increase to $25 the day of the event. The festival will run from noon to 2 a.m. on February 7, allowing attendees to enjoy multiple shows at various locations throughout the course of the day and night.
“Nashville’s full of all kinds of artists, every genre you can imagine, and the level of talent here is something you just can’t find anywhere else,” said Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “Events like 615 Indie Live truly capture the spirit of Music City with independent venues lifting up local talent and our community coming together to celebrate it. We’re proud to help create a day where so many artists can shine, and we hope both visitors and locals discover something new to love about Nashville’s music scene.”
Members of the local independent ecosystem have also joined the festival this year to help curate stages throughout the day. Those include Bluegrass Nashville curating slots on multiple stages, LOVENOISE programming Anzie Blue, DeeOhGee overseeing The 58 at Eastside Bowl, and Polychrome Ranch curating The End.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit MVAN and its mission to advocate for Nashville’s independent venues, promoters, and festivals, which also includes the organization’s Emergency Relief Fund. Additionally, the festival will donate $2 per ticket this year to WNXP, to help raise money for the nonprofit radio station who lost its federal funding this year.
“While this is truly a celebration, it also serves as an important reminder of the vital role these spaces hold in our community, and the pressures mounting against them. ” said Chris Cobb, President of the Music Venue Alliance Nashville, and Co-Producer of the festival. “From skyrocketing operational costs like property tax, rent, and insurance, to shifting local regulations like parking, and a consumer base that is spending less in small venues, current times are extremely challenging. That is why an event like 615 Indie Live has never been more important and needed.”
