Nashville Pride Announces Glennon Doyle, Abby Wambach and Joy Oladokun as the 2025 Grand Marshals for the Nashville Pride Parade
The free annual Nashville Pride Parade takes place on Saturday, June 28, at 10 am on the iconic street of Broadway starting at 8th Avenue.
NASHVILLE, TN - Nashville Pride is proud to announce the Grand Marshals for the 2025 Nashville Pride Parade featuring a group of individuals who exemplify courage, leadership, and dedication to uplifting the LGBTQ+ community. Each of these individuals has made significant contributions to advancing equality, visibility, and inclusion both locally and nationally.
This year’s honorees are Glennon Doyle, CEO and Founder of Treat Media, author, podcaster, producer and philanthropist, Abby Wambach, two-time Olympic gold medalist, FIFA World Cup champion, six-time winner of the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year award and one of Time’s Most Influential People and Joy Oladokun, acclaimed singer, songwriter and producer hailed by Rolling Stone as "Nashville’s most low-key musical darevolutionary".
The 2025 Nashville Pride Parade serves as the official kickoff to the city’s Pride weekend taking place on Saturday, June 28 at 10 am. The celebration begins in the heart of downtown Nashville on the iconic street of Broadway at 8th Avenue where over 40,000 people are expected to gather to march, cheer and stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. As the largest Pride Parade in Tennessee, the event is a vibrant display of unity, creativity and resilience featuring more than 140 floats, marching bands, community organizations and more.
This annual tradition is free and open to the public welcoming everyone to come together and celebrate diversity, inclusion and the ongoing fight for equal rights. With this year’s Grand Marshals leading the way, the 2025 Nashville Pride Parade promises to be an inspiring and unforgettable moment for the city.

Glennon Doyle
Glennon Doyle is the CEO and Founder of Treat Media, an award-winning media company that makes art for humans who want to stay human. She is an author, podcaster, producer, and philanthropist. Joy Oladokun
Acclaimed singer, songwriter and producer Joy Oladokun has been hailed by Rolling Stone as "Nashville’s most low-key musical revolutionary" and widely celebrated for her uniquely vulnerable voice. Since her breakthrough in 2020, Oladokun has released two highly acclaimed albums—2021’s in defense of my own happiness and 2023’s Proof of Life—both of which landed on numerous best-of-the-year lists.
The first official Nashville Pride took place in 1988, however, LGBTQ+ celebrations in Nashville can be traced back to 1973 with a commitment to creating a safe, welcoming space where the LGBTQ+ community can come together.
New this year, a Friday Night Concert featuring Kim Petras will be held inside the festival grounds at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park on June 27. The Nashville Pride Festival is set for June 28-29 featuring 4 Non Blondes and Big Freedia as the 2025 headliners for the two-day festival.
General Admission tickets for the Friday Night Concert start at $39 with the option for attendees to have an elevated experience with the VIP option for $125. Tickets for the festival on Saturday and Sunday are $10 per day with a number of VIP options available. Attendees are encouraged to purchase in advance for easy access into the weekend of events.
