Nashville Predators Foundation Launches Donation Campaign and Food Drives For Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee

Nashville, Tenn. – The Nashville Predators Foundation announced today that it would be leading a donation campaign and multiple food drives at various locations throughout the month of November. Collections and donations will support Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

With the current disruption of food services nationally and locally, Second Harvest is experiencing an unprecedented hunger crisis. Fans are encouraged to donate any amount; the Nashville Predators Foundation will match donations, up to $17,159. Fans can donate through Nov. 30. To donate, visit NashvillePredators.com/donate.

On Thursday, Nov. 6, the Predators Foundation and Second Harvest will host a food drive at Bridgestone Arena before the game against the Philadelphia Flyers. Second Harvest is the Foundation’s featured charity of the night and will be on site to share information with fans. Guests may drop off nonperishable food items at any arena entrance prior to the 7 p.m. CT puck drop; alternatively, those wishing to contribute can purchase from the Amazon Wish List, linked here.

Additionally, the Predators Foundation will hold food drives around Smashville. Fans may drop off items at the Ford Ice Centers in Antioch, Bellevue and Clarksville through Nov. 30.

The mission of Second Harvest is to nourish and empower people so they can thrive across Middle and West Tennessee. The organization rescues donated surplus food from grocery stores, farmers and others, diverting it from landfills to instead feed and uplift our neighbors.

Both monetary and food donations will be donated to Second Harvest to assist those in need during the ongoing food crisis.
