Enck began her career in Washington, D.C., in event planning and philanthropy, with a portfolio that included working for the Trust for the National Mall, where she planned fundraisers and coordinated a high-profile annual gala held on the National Mall itself. From there, she shifted into government, working on the COVID response task force under Brad Smith at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. She followed Smith to Nashville to assist with the launch of multiple health-tech startups including CareBridge, which was ranked No. 1 on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the nation in 2023. The company was acquired by Elevance in 2024 with an estimated value of $2.7 billion.
For Enck, Locket Events Co. represents a new chapter that marries her logistical and operational expertise to deliver experiences that resonate with clients across multiple sectors and industries. The company is named after a locket that was left to her by her grandmother, Susan Eakin (known to all as “Gussy”).
