The Hot Chocolate Affair Returns to Loews Nashville Hotel November 1st
Nashville’s Sweetest Winter Tradition Makes it’s Seasonal Return Featuring New Savory Bites, Vegan and Gluten-Free Options, and Much More.
Nashville, Tenn. – Back by popular demand, Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza is thrilled to announce the return of The Hot Chocolate Affair, Nashville’s sweetest seasonal tradition. The family-friendly experience will take place inside of the hotel’s Mason Bar every Saturday, Sunday, and select Fridays from November 1, 2025 through March 29, 2026.
For the 2025-2026 season, guests and locals alike can once again indulge in a playful twist on afternoon tea service. Ornate teapots are filled with guests’ choice of milk or dark chocolate, along with rotating seasonal flavors, including Pumpkin Hot Chocolate in the fall, Peppermint Hot Chocolate in the winter, and White Hot Chocolate in the spring. Made with Valrhona chocolate from French chocolatier, each pot offers a luxuriously rich a decadent experience.
Guests can personalize their hot chocolate creations with gourmet toppings such as marshmallows, caramels, chocolate shavings, ganache-dipped spoons, whipped Chantilly cream and more confections. The service includes three tiers of indulgent treats crafted by the hotel’s in-house pastry chef Anne Jaskoski, featuring bite-sized scones, freshly baked pastries, colorful macarons for a whimsical and memorable dining experience.
New this year, The Hot Chocolate Affair will introduce a rotating selection of savory bites for each season, ranging from whipped cranberry goat cheese, herbed brioche and toasted hazelnuts in the fall, to candied bacon jam with Boursin cheese on brioche with pine syrup in the winter, and blistered blueberry jam with whipped feta and lemon crostini in the spring. Guests can also elevate their experience with Champagne by the glass or bottle.
To make the experience inclusive for all guests, vegan and gluten-free options will also be available, including vegan shortcakes, as well as seasonal gluten-free tarts, cheesecakes, panna cotta, macarons, and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Also returning is the crowd-favorite Espresso Martini Flight, available as an add-on for guests ages 21 and over. The flight features three handcrafted martinis made with the hotel’s Flavor by Loews Hotels partner and local roaster, Frothy Monkey, including a Chocolate Hazelnut Martini, Caramel Pecan Martini, and a rotating seasonal espresso martini.
Prices for The Hot Chocolate Affair begin at $65 per person, $45 for children ages 4-10 and complimentary for children under three. The optional Espresso Martini Flight enhancement is +$35 per person. Cost for Champagne by the glass or bottle varies based on the selection.
The Hot Chocolate Affair now offers four seating times: 12:00 p.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:45 p.m., and 2 p.m.
