Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee will Host 19th Annual Golf Tournament on September 8

The event at The Golf Club of Tennessee is one of four annual GCMTN events raising money and awareness for anyone impacted by cancer; other events include Songwriter’s Night, Red Door Bash, and Fall Festival.

NASHVILLE, TN – Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee, an organization dedicated to providing support and education to people with cancer and their loved ones, is excited to share that its annual Golf Classic will return on Monday, September 8, at The Golf Club of Tennessee. “The Gilda’s Club Golf Classic has been a popular and growing event since its creation in 1991,” said Harriet Schiftan, MSW, MAJCS, President & CEO of Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee. “It’s a beautiful afternoon filled with fun and fellowship with our supporters. We are thankful for the opportunity to gather, raise essential funds, and raise awareness for Gilda’s Club.”

Gilda’s Club Golf Classic is in its 19th year and is hosted at one of the area’s most exclusive golf courses, The Golf Club of Tennessee. Gilda’s Club welcomes those who are interested in attending to enjoy the day while making a meaningful difference. Each year, Gilda’s Club hosts four large fundraising events, the proceeds of which go to support free cancer support provided to anyone who enters Gilda's Clubhouse.

Tickets to play in the Gilda’s Club Golf Classic are still available, with options to host a team of four for $3,000, which includes green fees, carts and caddies, lunch, and seats at the awards dinner. Increase your visibility with a tee sponsorship, including logo signage and a custom flag at the hole plus a foursome for $4,000. Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee is a community for anyone who is affected by cancer, including patients, families and loved ones. The charity, based in Nashville and serving the larger Middle Tennessee region, is rooted in breaking down barriers to care while providing resources and events. The Clubhouse hosts more than 100 free activities a month, with daily programming that includes support groups, cooking classes, book clubs, art classes, exercise groups and more.
