Adventure Science Center Screens Documentary, Unveils Blue Origin Flight Suit Exhibit Featuring Local Cardiologist
Dr. Eiman Jahangir is a practicing cardio-oncology physician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was a passenger on Blue Origin’s NS-26 flight.
Nashville, TN: Adventure Science Center welcomed guests to the Sudekum Planetarium on Saturday, September 20, for a screening of "Eiman Jahangir: Lift Off," a new documentary by filmmaker Jerome Moore that highlights the inspiring journey of Dr. Eiman Jahangir. The evening featured a private screening, a fireside conversation with Dr. Jahangir and Moore, and the unveiling of a new exhibit showcasing Jahangir’s actual flight suit worn during the New Shepard-26 mission.
Guests had the opportunity to hear firsthand from Dr. Jahangir about his path to space and from Moore about the creative process of capturing his story for the screen. The exhibit reveal provided a powerful moment as attendees saw the flight suit up close, connecting Nashville audiences directly to the history and future of space travel.
Adventure Science Center will continue the celebration with ongoing access to the new exhibit in its galleries, giving visitors of all ages a chance to engage with Dr. Jahangir’s story. About Eiman Jahangir
Eiman Jahangir is a physician, educator, keynote speaker, and astronaut. He is currently a Professor of Medicine and Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with an expertise in Cardiology and Cardio-oncology. As a researcher and former Fogarty International Clinical Research fellow, he has published over 40 papers in a broad range of topics in medicine. Eiman pursued his childhood interest in human space flight for over 20 years including being a finalist for the Astronaut Candidate position at NASA (2009 and 2013). In 2023 he served as the medical officer for Inclusion 1, the first mission at the Space Analog for the Moon and Mars (SAM) at Biosphere2. Eiman fulfilled his dream by flying to space in August 2025 on board Blue Origin’s New Shepard vehicle. He has since worked with Blue Origin on astronaut training and mission operations. Currently Eiman continues his medical practice while sharing his lessons in courage, persistence, and chasing dreams to groups around the world.

Jerome Moore is a bestselling author, storyteller, and explorer of communities dedicated to discovering solutions and social change.
