About This Spot
The Cordelle is located in downtown Nashville, just blocks from the honky tonk’s of Broadway and Music City Center. Our building is one of the last remaining Victorian Homes in the area preserving the historic charm of the city. VENDORS The Cordelle has an “Open Vendor Policy”, which means you may bring any licensed and insured vendor to the venue. A great selection of industry professionals can be found on our RESPECTED VENDOR LIST. BAR SERVICE Clients are welcome to provide their own Beverage Package (including alcohol). All alcoholic beverages must be severed by an ABC Licensed and Certified Bartender should be hired through an Insured Vendor. SECURITY For privacy and security The Cordelle requires and will arrange a security guard for your event. The charge will be $400 for events over 3 hours ($225 for events 3 hours or less), the security charge will be added to the venue rental. SIGHT AND SOUND The Cordelle has a permanent sound system with speakers throughout that can be used for “restaurant style” sound (Pre-recorded music playlist). Should you choose to add a DJ or band we can accommodate the necessary power requirements for amplified gear, but additional PA/Sound System should be provided by your entertainment. Projections can be used in the space, but equipment is not provided. PLANNING To create a seamless and successful event we require our clients to utilize the skills of a professional event planner. We require you to use a professional event planner or “day of coordinator” to orchestrate and execute your event needs. You may refer to our RESPECTED VENDOR LIST or inquire with your hired vendors to see if they offer this service. LIGHTING The Cordelle provides dimmable ambient lighting throughout, as well as Bistro Lights in our Great Hall. Our open truss design in the Great Hall and Victorian can be used for rigging additional lighting. VALET We have ample street parking at The Cordelle for up to 150 guests. If your guest count exceeds this amount it is strongly recommended that you rent our additional parking at the US Community Credit Union. The lot is 1/2 block away from the venue and available for a rental fee of $500 which includes 50 spaces, 2 parking attendants (*not VALET*), signage and additional security.
