Position Summary
The Membership Sales Manager drives the growth and engagement of NCVC’s membership program — connecting Nashville’s hospitality and business community to the power of the Music City brand. This role is about people, partnership, and persistence. You’ll grow our network by engaging warm prospects, building genuine relationships, and helping members see real value from their partnership with the Music City brand.
You’ll spend your time meeting with local businesses, teaching the Music City story, and ensuring every member understands the importance of our role within the hospitality and tourism industry and how to make the most of their membership. It’s a fast-moving, community-facing role that blends sales, customer service, and advocacy for Nashville’s tourism and hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, contact, and close new member recruitment opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects, track activity in CRM, and meet sales goals.
- Educate new and existing members on benefits, resources, and marketing opportunities available through NCVC.
- Strengthen member retention through proactive engagement, renewal conversations, and value-driven communication.
- Represent NCVC at community and industry events — from networking meetings to major city celebrations.
- Serve as a connection point between members and NCVC initiatives, ensuring members are informed and involved.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Hospitality or membership organization experience preferred.
- Established knowledge of the Nashville market; local relationships are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect across industries.
- CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency with strong attention to organization and follow-up.

Additional Details
- This is a full-time, in-person, salaried position based at NCVC’s downtown Nashville office.
- Local travel within the Nashville area is required for meetings and events.
- Some evening and weekend work is expected.
- Attendance at two key NCVC events — July 4th and New Year’s Eve — is required.
