As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere and setting the tone for their experience at Pinewood Social. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive and friendly first impression.
- Manage guest reservations, seating assignments, and waitlists in an efficient and organized manner.
- Escort guests to their tables, offer menus, and provide any relevant information about the space.
- Maintain a clean and orderly host stand.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth seating and coordination for all guests.
- Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries, and take reservations when necessary.
- Assist with special requests, ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless experience for all guests.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, even in busy or high-pressure situations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a host or customer-facing role is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform light physical tasks, such as escorting guests to their tables.
